    “Wer Ruhe und ein wenig Abgeschiedenheit sucht, ist in Skinaria genau richtig, fernab vom Pauschaltourismus des Südens. Die wunderschönen Strände an der Felsenküste sind nach kurzer Fahrt erreichbar. Es finden sich zahlreiche Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für den täglichen Bedarf. Souvenirs nur in größeren Orten, z.B. Volimes. Restaurants und Tavernen in großer Auswahl, Anfang Juni waren wir oft die einzigen Gäste. Empfehlenswert ist ein Auto mit Allradantrieb, denn die Straßen und Pisten sind steil, gebirgig, romantisch, aber oft in schlechtem Zustand.”
