    “Der Ort ist nett und eine typische Mischung aus alt und neu. Die Strandpromenade ist eine schöne Spaziermeile mit Parkanlagen, Sitzmöglichkeiten und Spielplätzen . Sehr kinderfreundlich. Der Strand ist sehr gepflegt und teilweise bewirtschaftet. Grundsätzlich ist alles sehr sauber und widerspricht den üblichen Klischees allgemeiner Unsauberkeit. Die nächsten Supermärkte sind in Pozzallo nach ca. 10 Minuten Autofahrt mit entsprechenden Umfeld und Hafenstadtflair. Ausflüge nach Ragusa , Modica , Syrakus, Noto sind unkompliziert und bieten eindrucksvolle Erlebnisse. Im Ort sind ausreichend Restaurants , Bistro , Kaffee und in der Nähe der Strände auch mobile Imbissbuden. Nichts fehlt.
    Im Gegensatz zu früheren Besuchen ist zu erkennen, dass die gesamte Region bemüht ist sich auf die Ferienbesucher einzurichten. Vieles ist neu, wird modernisiert und man kämpft sichtbar gegen die unsauberen Ecken und Vermüllungen. Müll wird neuerdings getrennt und regelmäßig abgefahren. Die Strände werden regelmäßig gereinigt machen einen gepflegten Eindruck. Hier hat sich vieles positiv entwickelt. Der Ort ist empfehlenswert für Familien mit Kindern da überall kurze Wege sind und für jeden etwas dabei ist.”
