The vacation apartment "Windrose" is 51m² in size. It is located only about 160m from the idyllic beach in Gollwitz, which is not only ideal for children, but also invites you to take long walks on the beach. The 3-room apartment is located on the second floor of a well-kept Frisian house.

In 2021, the cozy vacation apartment was extensively renovated. With its warm colors, wood-look flooring and modern, maritime furnishings, it is ideally suited to spend a wonderful vacation here.
In the beautiful living room you will find the dining area as well as a fully equipped kitchen. The apartment has two separate bedrooms. A wide, very high quality sofa bed with perfect sleeping comfort in the living area can accommodate two additional guests. Amenities include a wood-burning stove, a flat-screen TV and a stereo with CD player. The apartment has a south-facing balcony. Free of charge is a private parking space available and for a fee a washing machine for shared use.

For family reunions or celebrations, several of the 5 apartments in the apartment house "Poeler Strandquartier" can be booked at the same time (DMK146, DMK147, DMK148, DMK431).

On one of the most beautiful places on the Baltic Sea, near Wismar, lies the island of Poel. It is connected to the mainland by a causeway. Gollwitz is considered an insider tip of the island and is an ideal place to find peace and quiet! It also attracts with a very good water quality. Due to the offshore sandbanks, the beach here is particularly shallow and child-friendly. There is a large beach playground and a kiosk, where beach chairs can also be rented.

Those who bring their four-legged friends will be happy about the separate dog beach.

The location is an ideal starting point at any time of year to visit the old Hanseatic cities of Wismar, Lübeck and Rostock or the state capital Schwerin. The Baltic Sea island of Poel can be wonderfully explored by bike from here. A small bicycle rental shop is located in the immediate vicinity.
