The antique Villa Can Sion is a little piece of paradise. The property, which consists of three buildings, is over 100 years old and has been perfectly renovated and furnished to a high standard. The buildings are south-facing and surrounded by an incredibly beautiful garden. At first glance it looks as if it is growing naturally, but on closer inspection you realise that the garden architecture is cleverly planned with palm trees and other trees, flowers, lush green lawns and even an orchard. It is also beautifully decorated with antique farming tools, numerous terracotta flower pots and discreetly placed decorative objects. Our photographer immediately fell in love with this property and we also believe that a painted picture does not properly reflect its beauty. The pool is right next to the outbuilding, with an absolutely practical outdoor bathroom with WC and a bedroom. The terrace annexe has a covered area with barrel-like wood panelling and the atmosphere around the large dining table is really great, especially in the evening when you can relax and prepare your barbecue on the free-standing outdoor cooker. You can also sit on the comfortable aluminium sun loungers or spend far too little time together in one of the other seating areas with classic wicker armchairs and comfy lounge chairs while enjoying the magnificent view.

The interior design of all three buildings blends into the pleasant garden idyll and forms a successful combination of rustic Mallorcan country house style with classic elegance. Large wooden window fronts bathe the main house with its spacious living room in soft light. A bright sofa set, a cast-iron fireplace and many lovingly selected details create a cosy, pleasant atmosphere. Behind the lounge is a double bedroom with a hand-turned bed and an en-suite bathroom, contemporary modern and characterised by natural stone tiles and a walk-in shower. The adjoining outbuilding houses only the magnificent kitchen with a long dining table in the centre. Exposed quarry stone masonry, large sliding glass doors, large-format floor tiles and a cosy fireplace lend character to this fantastic room, which fulfils far more than just a kitchen function. The refined details define the interior with brick cabinets, a stainless steel refrigerator, dried pimiento strings and an ensemble of glass globe lamps, to name just a few of the countless lovely details you will find here. The second bedroom with direct access to the garden is also located in the outbuilding next to the pool. The two single bedrooms are complemented by an extra bed, which is ideal for a child. The picturesque property is therefore particularly suitable for one or two couples with one child or a family with two children.
The exciting Villa Can Sion blends into this spectacular area, where there are hardly any neighbours. It is located between Esporles and the coastal town of Port des Canonges. The mountain village of Esporles, 4 km away in a valley on the south side of the Tramuntana mountains, has some nice cafés and small, local restaurants. The charming fishing village of Port de Canonges has a bathing bay with an impressive viewing platform and a few very nice restaurants. From there, an easy hiking trail leads to the neighbouring coastal town of Banyalbufar. It takes you along narrow paths along the coast through a pine forest. Surrounded by steep cliffs on one side and wild coastline on the other, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the turquoise sea. Thanks to the villa's proximity to a country road with very little traffic and therefore only partial audibility, you can easily and comfortably drive anywhere. Valldemossa, a village with romantic houses in a picturesque landscape, is also worth a visit.
