The holiday village called “Orizzonti del Castelluccio” is in central Tuscany, near the small town of Monteverdi Marittimo, in Pisa district. In the village there is a group of flats on the top of an hill, from where you can enjoy a wonderful landscape. The two holyday flats are just there. “Orizzonti del castelluccio” has two flats to lease. They are both well furnished in elegant tuscan style and well fitted. They have decorated walls and valuable drapery. Both flats have independent entry and parking and a large panoramic terrace (furnished with wooden chairs and table). From each of them you can reach, from a private stair, another splendid panoramic terrace/solarium from where you can enjoy a wonderful view on the superb Val di Cornia. Both flats have TV and independent heating. Bedclothes and linen for bathrooms and kitchen are included in the price. The village is upon a hill, inside a splendid wood of oak and live oak trees, on the border between the district of Pisa and Livorno. Sassetta e Suvereto At the slopes of the Colline Metallifere in the direction of the sea finds you will find the romantic mountain villages Sassetta and Suvereto, which are about 14 km apart. Castagneto Carducci A mountain village as from the picture book. The local centre developed in concentric circles around the – in the 11. Century bricked - Castello of the counts della Gherardesca, before Castagneto Marittimo itself expanded in the 18. Century towards the west. Only since 1907 the place is called Castagneto Carducci after Giosuè Carducci (1836 - 1907), the Nobel prize winner and “poet of the new Italy”, who spent here and in Bolgheri his youth. From the small park of the Piazzale Belvedere 200 m above the sea one has a marvelous view over the hill country and the coast. Bolgheri A long and straight avenue of cypresses, the probably most beautiful and the longest in Tuscany, leads from the via Arelia up to Bolgheri. The village is put on like a fortress, half village, half feudal seat of the counts Gherardesca from the 16. to 18. Century. Bolgheri is -due to its since 200 years nearly unchanged built volumes - a genuine rare piece. A rare piece and world well-known is also the Cabernet wine Sassicaia originating from Bolgheri, the best red wine of Italy. Guest can use the swimming pool (25X15mt),normally open from 1st of June to 31st of August. if the weather is good the swimming pool can remain open until 15th or 20th of September.
