Two recently (2010) fully renovated holiday apartments with modern furnishing, in a traditional stone house near the beach.
These two holiday apartments enjoy a convenient location in a quiet residential area near the long municipal beach and the historical old town of Split. It is therefore an ideal starting point for a seaside holiday, at the same time with easy access to the attractions of the vibrant Mediterranean metropolis.
The site has a three-storey, traditional stone house from the year 1896 with a modern, two-storey annex. One of the apartments is on the ground floor of the new annex, the other occupies half of the first floor of the main house. Both were extensively renovated in 2010 and provided with modern amenities for a comfortable stay, including air conditioning units (cool/warm) in all rooms. The other floors in the main house are occupied by the owner.
Although the owner in the main house is of course always mindful of your privacy, he is happy to assist with any queries.
It is only about 200 metres to the blue Adriatic and the long municipal beach. The historical old town of Split with its famous Diocletian Palace is about 500 metres away. It is 100 metres to a bus stop with regular connections into the old town. There are shops, cafés and restaurants on the doorstep.
Light studio apartment on the ground floor with a private sunny terrace
Apartment is set in a traditionally built stone house, typical for the old part of town.
The location is excellent, being situated in the old town and just a walking distance from the harbour ,historic centre with amazing architecture and history, close to many bars and restaurants and all amenities.
Outside in front of the studio your private sunny terrace awaits you with a dining table, a wooden bench and chairs. It is ideal for relaxing in the shade of grape vines.
The studio apartment on the ground floor of the new annex to the stone house consists of a combined living room and bedroom with an integrated, open kitchen and a daylight bathroom. The living room provides a comfortable sofa, a double bed (140 x 200cm), a wide flatscreen TV and a round dining table with chairs. The white and glossy built-in kitchen next to it is equipped with a dishwasher, ceramic hob, oven, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, kettle and toaster. The bathroom with light tiles has a spacious shower cubicle, a washbasin with a wall mirror, a hairdryer, a toilet and even a washing machine. Plenty of bed linen and towels are provided and the reliable wireless Internet connection can be used free of charge.
Surrounding is very quiet, with many traditionally built stone houses.
Marjan hill that rises on the north, with a beautiful pine forest invites you for a jogging trips, or just to stand, bread the fresh air and enjoy a memorable view over the harbour.
Being in the centre, to most of places you will not need public transportation. Anyway, both bus and train station are at a close proximity to the apartment. A local ferry lines are very frequent so you have a possibility to make a daily trip to the nearby islands.
