This beautiful vacation house, built towards the end of the 19th century, is located between cliffs, sandy beaches and Mediterranean scrub forest in the wonderful region of Cilento, known for its sunny climate, traditions and excellent cuisine. The house is secluded in the countryside in the middle of a 2 ha olive grove, where an excellent extra virgin olive oil is produced, about 2 km from the nearest town Agnone. In the attractively furnished house you will find building elements such as wood, cotto and tiles from Vietri sul Mare, there are four bedrooms with bathroom, a dining room and a small kitchen. In the outdoor areas you will find a large equipped garden and, a little apart, a small pool where you can relax completely undisturbed. Part of the cottage overlooks the olive grove, another overlooks the crystal clear sea of Agnone, a small coastal town that enchants vacationers from all countries with its beautiful coastline. At a distance of 6 km you will find the characteristic fishing and seaside resort of Acciaroli, where Ernest Hemingway also liked to stay for long periods of time. If, on the other hand, you prefer the mountains, we recommend a visit to the town of San Mauro Cilento, famous for its extra virgin olive oil, from where a hiking route starts into the mountains and leads along shady paths through dense chestnut woods to viewpoints where you can enjoy breathtaking panoramas such as a view of the beautiful Capo Palinuro. Along the trails there are picnic areas and at the end of the hiking route you will reach the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Stella. Access to the house via a gravel road not suitable for sports cars or low-slung cars. From mid-June for the summer season is active a system of connections to the most interesting tourist areas such as the Amalfi Coast, Capri, Naples, Salerno. Good starting point to discover also the archaeological areas such as Paestum, Velia and the Certosa di Padula. Possibility to request guided tours in English (for a fee on site, not in August).
