Modern and very well-maintained holiday apartments in an elegant apartment building with several floors, in the central San Giovanni district in Rome

The holiday apartments are in a big apartment building with several floors in the San Giovanni district of Rome, near the ancient thermal baths of Caracalla. It is very elegant, with a decorative garden in front of the building.

The apartments are completely independent and only share the main entrance, stairs and lift. They were completely refurbished in 2015 and newly furnished.

Cars can be parked on the street in front of the building (some free and some payable spaces). The San Giovanni and Re di Roma metro stations (both Line A) are a ten-minute walk away. You can walk to the following places of interest: the Caracalla thermal baths (800 metres), which were the largest thermal baths in the city during imperial times, the San Giovanni in Laterano Basilica (900m), and the Colosseum (1500 metres). Within 100 metres you can find grocery shops, restaurants and other shopping facilities.

The holiday apartment is on the seventh floor of the house. It is very elegant, with clear lines and wooden floors. The photo tapestries adorning some walls, cupboards and doors are eye-catching. One bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe, desk, bedside tables and a TV, while the second has a double bed, bedside tables, a desk and a wardrobe. The quality mattresses measure 160 x 190cm. The living room has a sofa bed for two people, a dining table and a cupboard with a TV. A particularly beautiful lampshade, part of the Frisetti collection, adorns the living room. The kitchen has a gas stove with five rings, a dishwasher, an oven, a kettle, a coffee machine and a fridge with a freezer compartment. The spacious bathroom provides a massage bath with an integrated shower cubicle, as well as a washing machine. The apartment is fully air-conditioned (cool/warm) and has central heating. Both TVs have DVBT channels. Wireless Internet access is available.

The kitchen opens onto a little balcony.

    “Vivienda con limpieza muy deficiente.
    Se reclamó cambio de edredón que presentaba manchas de orina, y se nos dijo que no lo cambiaban, que lo habían lavado y que la manchas no salían, y que nos teníamos que aguantar con eso.
    Trato muy deficiente.
    La pintura de la vivienda esta llena de manchas, los suelos de madera dañados por agua y sin reparar.
    Nada aconsejable en relacióncalidad precio”

    “Buenos días, los edredones se lavaron con lejía y no con orina, no la usamos en el lavado, sin embargo se cambió. Pintamos la propiedad nuevamente en noviembre de 2024 con la esperanza de que dure al menos un año. Gracias por apreciar la ubicación.”

    “Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Ansprechpartner. Empfang ,auch spät abends ,gut organisiert. Besitzerin meldete sich regelmäßig bei uns (Englischkenntnisse erforderlich). Metro-Station ist ca. 10 Min. Gehweg entfernt. Supermarkt gleich neben an. In der Nacht kann es etwas lauter sein da sich die Wohnung neben der Straße und im Hochhaus mit ca. 10 Etagen befindet. In der Wohnung gab es genug Platz für eine 4-köpfige Familie.Leider waren wir von der Ausstattung und der Sauberkeit etwas enttäuscht. Das Bett brach gleich am ersten Abend ein, keine Pfanne in der Küche und schmutziges Geschirr im Küchenschrank.     “Ferienwohnung großzügig, gepflegt, gemütlich, ruhig. Küchenausstattung für Frühstück ok. Zum Kochen etwas dürftig. Lebensmittelläden in unmittelbarer Nähe. Bushaltestelle direkt vor dem Haus. Tabakladen für Fahrkarten genau gegenüber. Nette Cafebar direkt nebenan. Übernahme der Wohnung hat super geklappt.”
